A Little Bit About Me
I was born and raised in Florida, not too far from Tampa! I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of South Florida (USF) and will be graduating with my Master’s Degree in Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling from USF in December 2024.
I have lived experience with life transitions, anxiety, and living with a disability that has strengthened my ability to further support my clients. I believe that everyone is capable of living a life that they love, and sometimes we just need to do some investigation to make that happen.
How I Can Help You
I bring a unique mindset into my counseling, focusing on encouraging clients to live a life aligned with their values. I love exploring the factors that make you, YOU, so we can work together on your treatment plan in the most personal and effective way.
My goal is to provide a safe space where you feel heard, form a plan of action, and work toward being your best self.
A Glimpse Into My Life
My husband, golden doodles, and I love to RV travel across the country, but we’re also not opposed to flying! I believe in having a cup of Matcha every day and surrounding myself with people and activities that “fill my cup.”

I am also a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC). My experience includes working with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds across a variety of settings, including integrated behavioral health and primary care.
How I Can Help You
My therapeutic approach is primarily Solution-Focused, meaning I work with clients to build on their existing strengths and find solutions to life's challenges. A Little Bit About Me
I hold a master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University and a bachelor's degree in Psychology from the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico. I am bilingual in English and Spanish, and I have a passion for helping both children and adults overcome mental health challenges. I have worked extensively with children and families, especially in play therapy and other therapeutic techniques designed for younger clients.
My work also extends to helping adults navigate issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and more. My goal is to create a supportive, safe environment for healing and growth, allowing my clients to discover their inner strength and resilience.
How I Can Help You
With children, I utilize play therapy and integrate the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) model with mindfulness. For adults, I provide strategies for managing depression, anxiety, and trauma using Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), mindfulness techniques, and mood management strategies. My goal is to support my clients in developing the emotional tools they need to face life’s challenges and thrive.
A Glimpse Into My Life
I was born and raised in Puerto Rico and moved to Florida several years ago. I enjoy spending quality time with my family, traveling back to Puerto Rico, and relaxing at the beach. In my free time, I love unwinding with my loved ones and finding joy in simple moments.
